What is the Leadership Academy?

  • Professional-level instruction focusing on the tenets of executive leadership
  • Begins Wed., Aug. 26 2015 (kickoff reception) through Wed., Nov. 4, 2015;  classes begin Wed. Sept. 2
  • 11 sessions, including kickoff and graduation (special midpoint session at Nissan Motor Manufacturing in Smyrna)
  • 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. weekly
  • Location is Paul A. Martin Honors College, Middle Tennessee State University
  • $495 per person, exclusive to RutherfordCABLE Members;  limited scholarships available for qualifying members

Instructor

Dr. Timothy Dunne, the course instructor, is an assistant professor of management in the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University.  Dr. Dunne received his Ph.D. in management as well as his M.B.A. from the University of Missouri. His expertise includes topics related to organizational behavior, leadership, and conflict management.  In addition, Dr. Dunne teaches Leading Organizations and Negotiation courses in the Jones College’s M.B.A. program, and has been published in multiple management journals.
