Why does due process matter?

Due process matters because fairness, dignity, and respect should apply to everyone, without exception. It ensures people are heard, valued, and treated consistently, regardless of background or identity. When due process is honored, trust grows and inclusion becomes more than a principle, it becomes a practice. This shared standard helps create spaces where justice feels accessible to everyday people.
